Misty Green: story and trailer overview
The story
An actress who once found success in Hollywood now faces a stalled career. Misty Green follows her effort to make a comeback, with Chris Rock writing and directing.
Why it works
For us, a comeback story becomes interesting when past achievement no longer guarantees opportunity. This premise puts that tension at its center, giving the actress a clear reason to keep pursuing her career.
What to expect
We would expect the attempt to regain a place in Hollywood to shape the story. The premise suggests a focus on professional ambition and the uncertainty of starting again.
Our take
We think the contrast between an earlier breakthrough and a stalled present gives this career-comeback premise a worthwhile starting point.
