What makes movie trailers effective for the audiences?
eg: camera techniques, sound, lighting

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could watch the trailers for 3 movies–population 436..directed by Michelle Maclaren, The plague..directed byHal Masonberg and dorm daze 2..directed by David and Scott Hillenbrand–they are all 2006 films. I’ve already tried youtube and yahoo

I went to apple.com/trailers and I noticed tha t some of the movie trailers said “for your Ipod”. my question is, how do you get them into your ipod. Itunes has this in the music store as well but I can’t figure out how to put the trailers into my Ipod. Oh, by the way, I have a 30 GIG Ipod video. Please help and God bless you all.
I tried dragging it into Itune (as the first answer suggests) but Itunes doesn’t accept it, thr cursor turns into a black do not enter sign
oh yeah, i’m running windows xp over here.

Why is there always a deep voice when movie trailers begin. Who does these and does this person get any credit? Its the voice that comes up when the movie trailer begins and always sound the same deep soothing and resenating voice that start with something like ‘A NEW LEGEND IS BORN’ then the trailer begins with the voice continuing throughout.

Hey all, I’m looking for a site where I can download movie trailers without the background music, but with all the other audio, ie talking, sound effects, ect.
I want to find these because I like putting my own music to the movie, but I want to keep all the sound effects. If there’s already background music, I have to put my music higher so I can drown out the regular music, but then it also drowns out the sound effects and talking.
If you can understand and help me out, Thanks a lot!
P.S.
If this can’t be done, if there is a program where I can delete the music from trailers, it’d be appreciated also. Thanks!

when viewing yahoo movies trailers I get normal sound but the actual movie looks like a slide show instead of a normal movie.

I think movie trailers reveal too much about the movie, and oftentimes trailers for horror movies give away some of the “scariest” parts. However, I do see how they are necessary, as they let the audience know what the movie is about. Does anybody else feel this way? How can movie trailers give less away, but still tell viewers enough about the movie to get them excited?

Is there a web site I can go to find out what movie trailers are attached to certain theatrical movies? Like what previews will be shown before Ocean’s Thirteen?
