Today, he is well known as a politician, businessperson, bodybuilder, film producer, director and super star. He is a strongly self-motivated person, having the necessary determination to accomplish everything he wants in life. The Austrian Life Known as Austrian Oak, the child Arnold Schwarzenegger was born in Thal, a small Austrian village. He had a rough childhood being encouraged to work hard for a good living. From his young days, Arnold Schwarzenegger despised the common life. He always dreamed for a better life and it seems that his dream, after many years, came true. His childhood was quite difficult, as his parents imposed strict rules. Maybe for this reason, Arnold used to dream having a free life and this is why his father always considered him a rebel.
Starting Life: Bodybuilder and Model As a teenager, Arnold Schwarzenegger chooses bodybuilding for his career. After seriously training for years, he enrolled in the army respecting the Austrian laws. After finishing his military stage, back in 1965 he won the title Mr. Europe. The dream to become Mr. Universe brought him to America, the choice of his life. In America, he won Mr. Olympia for not less than seven times, which is a great accomplishment. Anyway, he remembers encountering different issues especially because of his strong German accent. Even today, after living for more than 30 years in America he still has a strong accent.
Personal Life Arnold Schwarzenegger was married with an English woman, Barbara Outland Baker. Anyway, the cultural and mentality differences separated them and as a result, in 1974, they get divorced and both of them continued their lives. After few years, Arnold Schwarzenegger remarried to Maria Shriver, President J.F. Kennedy’s niece. They have four children.
His Acting Career After 1970, Arnold Schwarzenegger was asked to play in Hercules and he accepted. After this debut, as he enjoyed acting, he accepted many roles in different movies. Of course, all of them were searching for heroes, role that Arnold Schwarzenegger was able to successfully perform. Some of these great movies are The Villain, Stay Hungry, Long Good Bye and many others. After these roles, he accepted to perform the role of Conan the Barbarian, which was a huge success. As well, he also starred in Terminator, still considered a great movie. After these remarkable successes, he played even more great characters in movies such as The Running Man, Raw Deal or Commando.
Business and Political Arnold Schwarzenegger has begun a partnership with Franco Columbu, a bodybuilder fellow. After this profitable partnership, he also opened a restaurant Schatzi on Main at Santa Monica. He sold the restaurant back in 1998 and today he runs some small businesses.
Of course, we all know that his political life is going to reveal us many things, as today Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of California’s Governors.
