On recent movie trailers on TV these days are shown in widescreen for example? Why widescreen?

    To get you a better idea of the picture, and I think that to make you go to the cinema instead of waiting for come out in dvd

    You can show more depth and action with widescreen advertisement and filming. It’s more product to catch the viewer’s attention.

    Plus I think everyone is so use to widescreen today.

    because regular tvs are being phased out little blittle like vhs tapes. by 2009 all tvs in store will be wide screen

    Its a popular marketing ploy. Maybe they’re preparing for when we all have widescreen TVs - more and more tv shows are also in widescreen format, as if our pictures weren’t small enough.

    because the TV people expect everyone to own a widescreen tv and if they dont they hope to persuade them to get them by showing everything in widescreen. makes people think thiere missing out on something
